The Route
The Four Corners Walk is a 1600-mile, 6-month long hiking expedition to the four cardinal extremities of mainland Britain, taking place in spring/summer 2026 and aiming to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease. This journey will traverse and celebrate Great British landscapes, connect communities, and shine a light on the resilience of those affected by Parkinson’s.
This will involve me walking solo, carrying all necessary equipment and camping gear, visiting the four cardinal extremities of mainland Britain – starting at the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall (southerly), then Lowestoft in Suffolk (easterly), to Ardnamurchan point in Scotland (westerly) and finishing at Dunnet Head near John o Groats (northerly).
